Q&A With Bioflow Brand Ambassador Minjee Lee

We caught up with Minjee Lee recently as she prepared for the US Open to talk about her career and training routines.

B: How did you first get involved in golf?

M: I was first introduced to golf by my mum when I was 10 years old. My whole family played golf so I was always around golf before I got into it seriously. My mum was a big influence to me when I started because she was my first teacher.

B: Of all the major championships, which would you like to win the most?

M: Since the first time I played in the US Open, it has always been the one I’d like to win most. Although any of the major championships would be awesome to win!

B: Training is obviously a large contributing factor to your success. How often do you train before a tournament?

M: Of course as a golfer, we have on & off course training & also training in the gym. I’ll try to see the golf course once or twice before the actual tournament and also do a couple hours of training each day.

B: Can you describe how you recover from training; do you have a specific routine and products you use?

M: Plenty of stretching, good healthy meals and good sleep. I often drink electrolyte drinks for recover during and after my rounds. Also, I constantly wear my Bioflow wristband. Through magnetic therapy, I get great recovery and feel great for the next day!

B: What advice would you give to aspiring young golfers who want to follow your footsteps?

M: My best piece of advice would be to always have fun. At the end of the day, doesn’t matter how serious you are, its just a game. Also, don’t be afraid to make mistakes, because you learn from making mistakes and its the best way to learn!

B: Finally, what has been your proudest golfing moment to date?

M: My proudest golfing moment would be representing Australia in the 2016 Rio Olympics. It was an awesome experience.
